Mirror Mirror on the Wall is a smart mirror designed to monitor facial skin health, and give recommendations based upon the mirror’s evaluations. This product is intended for users who want a daily evaluation of their skin condition, and who would like to observe trends in their skincare and facial health
Every person has a different skin type, and people tend to rely on skincare products without understanding their skin type and how their skin condition changes over time. We aim to have a product that engages with our users on a daily basis, giving them insights on their skincare.
The device is a two-way mirror that allows for not just the user to view themselves, but for the mirror to display extra information related to the users’ skin condition and potential treatments.
The system aims to evaluate skin condition based on four different metrics: oiliness/dryness, acne, skin temperature, and burns. Using vision-based machine learning models, within real time (< 10 seconds), the user would be able to receive their evaluation.
