When performing music with other people, it is essential that everyone not only plays the right notes, but they are in sync with one another. While most musicians have a natural intuition with this, when learning a new piece of music, musicians may be unable to determine if they have become out of sync with other performers. We want to help with this problem by providing quantitative feedback to performers tracking where they are in the music and where they are compared to the other musicians. We will then provide real-time feedback so the performer can make changes in real-time as well as provide post-performance feedback that is overlayed on top of their sheet music so they can determine their pain points in any given piece of music.
