What did you personally accomplish this week on the project?
I was extremely tied up until Friday, so started working on the webpage and react code on Friday night.
This week, I focused on enhancing the user interface of the Forget-Me-Not application. Using a combination of React.js, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS, I implemented a series of layout adjustments to improve user experience and visual appeal.
The primary changes included additions of further functionality to the main page of the webpage, by creating more functions and endpoints in the back end. We wanted to display all the different objects that are being tracked and also multiple images associated with it. Further changes included restructuring the layout of the header to create a more balanced and accessible design. I repositioned the Forget-Me-Not logo to the left side of the header for improved alignment and ease of recognition. Additionally, I moved critical buttons—Logout and Delete Account—to the left side of the screen, allowing users to easily locate and interact with these options. This update aligns the app’s layout with the color scheme and aesthetic we established on the login page, creating a cohesive experience throughout the app. I also added dynamic element movement to make the transitions seamless.
These updates required customizing styles with CSS and refining component structures within React to ensure responsiveness across different devices. In JavaScript, I added functionality for account-related actions, such as logout and account deletion, which further improves usability. This week’s accomplishments have moved the app closer to a polished and professional interface that matches our overall project vision.

The progress is as expected as I am using my built-in slack time to work on this. The intention is to finish all the frontend code by Sunday. First sc shows the progress ive made on the main page. Done with the registering and login page.
What deliverables do you hope to complete in the next week?
– Will finish the front end by Sunday.
– Will work on RDS integration
– Add more functionality to sqlite
– Will fix up the hardware and 3D prints further
