As mentioned in the team status update, this week was bit slow on development. I mainly focused on working with Greg on figuring out a much more accurate and chronological ToDo list of project tasks.
I also worked on wrapping up trade studies for microgreens selection, grow medium, and other related areas. One important area to note is that water Ph can actually have a pretty sizeable effect on microgreen health. Although we are not including active Ph sensing in our project scope, I decided it would still be a good idea to roughly measure the water we use by hand with test strips. I found a good kit from the same supplier we would use for our seeds and growing supplies.
The focus has primarily been on paper work, presentations, and planning up until now and will continue up to next week when the design report is submitted. After that is all finally done, Greg and I will be able to turn our full attention back onto getting solid development work done.
