This week I worked mainly on getting the staff construction together. With Thanksgiving break coming up, we don’t want to get caught without the able resources to fabricate our end product. I created the 3D CAD design in TinkerCAD of the staff topper and Raspberry Pi Chassis. I got the prints started, and I’m waiting until Monday to pick up the prints from the IDEATE lab. The staff itself is here as well so I will be woodworking it either today or tmr depending on when my friend, who is a shop monitor, is on duty. We are going to shave the top of the staff down to a square shape so the topper of the pi can be attached firmly on top. I made the design with this goal in mind.
