This week I worked on the motor dyno setup. In addition to milling out the sprocket, the motor dyno plate, I also spent some time wiring up the fets with the ACDC converter we got this week. Ideally, all the mechanical work for the dyno should be done by this weekend, fingers crossed that techspark is not full of meches trying to finish their capstone on time. I also have scoped out a fuse for the battery pack, which I will order in a bit, as well as the battery pack clips getting stuck in the UC delivery shelf until Monday. I spent a lot of time this week getting to know the bike intimately to figure out where we can throw things together, and the conclusion is that we’re going to prioritize the motor dyno for the initial demo and worrying about the bike as a secondary but parallel concern. Also, the moment the boards got here, I also spent a couple hours reflowing the board and fixing any sins that may have occurred in the reflow process.
